Northern Rare Earth: Controlling shareholder pledges 9.25% of shares

China Northern Rare Earth Group High-Tech (SSE:600111) announced that its controlling shareholder, Baogang Group, has pledged 334,500,000 company shares. The pledged shares account for 25.12% of Baogang Group's holdings and 9.25% of Northern Rare Earth's total share capital. After this pledge, Baogang Group's cumulative pledged shares in Northern Rare Earth amount to 334,500,000 shares. The pledge, registered with China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch on March 6, 2025, has China Exim Bank Inner Mongolia Branch as the pledgee and is for the purposes of financing guarantees for Baogang Group's subsidiaries. Baogang Group currently holds 1,331,700,569 shares of Northern Rare Earth, representing 36.84% of the total share capital.
