Daqin Railway's February cargo volume dips slightly

Daqin Railway (SSE:601006) reported a slight decrease in cargo transportation volume for February 2025. The company's core asset, the Daqin Line, completed a cargo volume of 27.66 million tons, a 0.50% year-over-year decrease. The average daily transport volume was 98,790 tons. The Daqin Line operated an average of 62.5 heavy-haul trains per day, including 47.4 trains carrying 20,000 tons. From January to February 2025, the Daqin Line accumulated a total cargo volume of 57.45 million tons, which represents a 7.67% decrease compared to the same period last year. The company stated that these operating figures are based on internal statistics, and variations may occur month-to-month due to factors such as market conditions, equipment maintenance, and unloading capacity.
