Foton Motor sales surge, new energy vehicles lead growth

Beiqi Foton Motor (SSE:600166) announced a strong performance in its February 2025 production and sales data. Total sales volume reached 47,208 vehicles, marking an 18.12% increase compared to the same period last year. Notably, new energy vehicle sales soared by 186.26%, with 7,587 units sold in February and 14,685 units sold cumulatively in the first two months. Production volume also saw a significant rise, reaching 52,167 vehicles, a 15.40% year-on-year increase. Engine production, including Foton Cummins, remained relatively stable at 23,044 units. The company notes that these figures are preliminary and subject to change in future financial reports.
