China Shenhua subsidiary commences Inner Mongolia mining projects

China Shenhua Energy (SSE: 601088) announced that its 60% owned subsidiary, Shenhua Xinjie Energy, has completed the necessary filings to commence construction on the Xinjie Well 1 and Xinjie Well 2 projects, including associated coal preparation plants, within the Xinjie Taigemiao mining area of Inner Mongolia. According to the announcement, the Energy Bureau of Yijinhuoluo Banner in Inner Mongolia has confirmed that the project's submitted approval documents, construction unit, and supervision unit data are complete and on file. With the filings complete, Shenhua Xinjie Energy will proceed with the construction of the projects in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. China Shenhua Energy affirmed it will continue to fulfill its information disclosure obligations as required by securities regulators.
