China Construction announces new projects totaling $10.71bn

China State Construction Engineering Corp (SSE:601668) has announced the acquisition of several major projects, totaling 10.71 billion yuan (approximately $1.49 billion USD). The projects span both residential and infrastructure sectors. Key projects include a design and construction contract for the Qingdao Airport Business District in Shandong Province worth 2.84 billion yuan. Additionally, the company secured a 3.76 billion yuan contract for a new construction project in the Shanghai Pudong New Area and a 2.11 billion yuan contract for the construction of a beef and biotechnology industry chain project in Bazhong, Sichuan. Another notable project is a 2.01 billion yuan carbon neutrality project in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. The total value of these projects represents 0.5% of the company's audited revenue in 2023. This announcement was made by the Board of Directors on February 27, 2025.
