Guotai Junan: Haitong Securities A-share swap reminder

Guotai Junan Securities (601211.SS) has issued a reminder announcement regarding the upcoming share swap related to its merger with Haitong Securities. Haitong Securities' A-shares will be delisted from the Shanghai Stock Exchange on March 4, 2025, after which they will no longer be visible in shareholder accounts nor contribute to portfolio value calculations. The exchange is a result of Guotai Junan's acquisition, approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. Shareholders of Haitong Securities A-shares will see their holdings converted to Guotai Junan A-shares, reflected in their accounts after Guotai Junan completes the listing of new shares related to the swap, following which portfolio values will be updated.
