Aluminum Corp of China chairman resigns

Aluminum Corporation of China (Chalco) (SSE: 601600) announced the resignation of its chairman, Shi Zhirong, on February 24, 2025, due to work requirements. Shi Zhirong also relinquishes his roles as executive director and member of various board committees. Chalco stated that the resignation does not impact the minimum required number of board members or significantly affect company operations. The company will promptly appoint a new director and elect a new chairman, fulfilling its disclosure obligations. Chalco confirmed no disagreements between Shi Zhirong and the board.
