Beijing Hotgen Biotech (SSE:688068) announced plans to expand its business operations to include the sale of health foods and the production of cosmetics. This decision, approved at the company's recent board meeting, necessitates revisions to the company's Articles of Association. The proposed changes, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting, will add "health food (pre-packaged) food", "food sales (selling pre-packaged food only)", "Internet food sales (selling pre-packaged food only)", and "cosmetics production" to the company's permitted activities. The company will also update the corresponding articles in its company charter. The announcement was made on February 18, 2025.
