Sino Medical wins key overseas coronary product approvals

Sino Medical Sciences Technology (SSE: 688108) announced that its HT Supreme™ drug-eluting stent system has received registration approvals in Argentina (ANMAT) and Ecuador (ARCSA). These approvals also include the Tytrak PTCA balloon dilatation catheter and NC Thonic non-compliant PTCA balloon dilatation catheter in Ecuador. The HT Supreme™ stent is Sino Medical's independently developed product, undergoing clinical trials in China, the US, Japan, and Europe, and has already been approved in several other countries. Sino Medical believes the approvals will boost the company's international sales. However, the company cautions that overseas market conditions, regulatory changes, and exchange rate fluctuations could impact future performance.
