Dongzhu Ecological wins $487 million Laos EPC project

Dongzhu Ecological Environment Protection Co., Ltd. (SSE:603359) announced it has secured a major overseas project. The company, as part of a consortium, received a winning bid notice for the Laos Champasak Province Land Consolidation Project (EPC). The project, awarded by Asian Tobacco Industries Group, is estimated at ¥3.5 billion (approximately $487 million USD), with a potential 5% upside. The project involves the construction of infrastructure on 560,000 acres of land in Laos. Construction is slated to take 36 months, operating on a 'phased' approach. The company cautions that the project is subject to regulatory approvals and contract details.
