Haitong Securities to delist after merger with Guotai Junan

Haitong Securities (SSE: 600837) announced its stock will be suspended from trading starting February 6, 2025, and will subsequently be delisted. This follows the approval of a merger agreement where Guotai Junan Securities will absorb Haitong Securities through a share swap. Haitong shareholders will receive Guotai Junan A-shares or H-shares, depending on their current holdings, based on a predetermined exchange ratio.
