EGing Photovoltaic chairman and two directors resign

EGing Photovoltaic Technology (SSE:600537) announced the resignation of Chairman and Director Liu Qiang, and Directors Sun Tiedun and Zhang Ting, effective January 6, 2025. All three cited work-related reasons. Liu will remain as General Manager, while Sun and Zhang will continue as Deputy General Managers. Their resignations will not affect the board's quorum. The company plans to repurchase and cancel the restricted shares held by the resigning directors as part of the termination of the 2022 stock option and restricted stock incentive plan. Controlling shareholder Shenzhen Weizi Energy Co., Ltd. has proposed nominees to fill the board vacancies at the upcoming extraordinary general meeting scheduled for January 17, 2025.
