CCB announces 2024 interim dividend of 0.197 Yuan per share

China Construction Bank (CCB) has announced a cash dividend of 0.197 yuan per share for its A-shares for the first half of 2024. The dividend payment, totaling approximately 49.252 billion yuan, will be distributed on January 10, 2025, with a record date of January 9, 2025. A-share holders who have held their shares for more than one year will be exempt from withholding tax. Those holding shares for less than a year will have tax calculated upon sale of the shares. QFII investors and Hong Kong investors via the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect will be subject to a 10% withholding tax. Dividends for resident corporate shareholders will be taxed according to relevant corporate income tax laws.
