ICBC announces 2024 interim dividend of $0.02 per share

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) announced a cash dividend of RMB 0.1434 (approximately $0.02) per share for its A-shares for the 2024 interim period. The dividend will be paid on January 7, 2025, to shareholders of record on January 6, 2025. The ex-dividend date is January 7, 2025. This payout totals approximately RMB 51.109 billion ($7.112 billion), with RMB 38.662 billion ($5.387 billion) allocated to A-shares based on 356.4 billion outstanding shares. H-share dividend details will be announced separately. For A-shares, individual shareholders' tax rates depend on their holding period, ranging from 0% for holdings over one year to 20% for holdings under one month. A 10% withholding tax applies to qualified foreign institutional investors (QFIIs).
