Agricultural Bank of China announces 2024 interim dividend

Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) announced a cash dividend of RMB 0.1164 per share (pre-tax) for its 2024 interim results. The dividend distribution, totaling approximately RMB 407.38 billion, was approved at the bank's third extraordinary general meeting held on November 29, 2024. The record date is January 7, 2025, with the ex-dividend and payment dates both falling on January 8, 2025. A-share holders will receive approximately RMB 371.60 billion of the total dividend payout. Separate announcements detail the dividend arrangements for H-share holders and those participating via Stock Connects. For A-share holders, a 20% withholding tax applies for holdings under one month, 10% for holdings between one month and one year, and holdings over one year are tax-exempt.
