Jilin Springs secures mineral water prospecting rights

Jilin Springs (SSE: 600189) announced its subsidiary, Jilin Senlin Group Quanyangquan Beverage Co., Ltd., has secured mineral water prospecting rights in Fushun County, Baishan City, Jilin Province, China. The company acquired the rights through a public auction for 25,630 yuan (approximately $3,570 USD) after a competitive bidding process. The exploration area spans 0.51 square kilometers and the initial exploration period is five years, renewable for subsequent five-year terms. According to local government documents, the Shengshuiquan spring may have an annual production capacity of 2 million tons of natural mineral water. The actual resource volume will be determined after exploration. This acquisition strengthens Jilin Springs' access to natural mineral water resources and supports its long-term growth strategy.
