TGS secures multi-year software deal with energy supermajor

TGS, a global leader in energy data and intelligence, announced a multi-year enterprise agreement with an unnamed supermajor for the licensing of its Imaging AnyWare software suite. This deal increases TGS's supermajor client count for Imaging AnyWare and reinforces its leadership in commercial seismic processing software and geophysical technology innovation.

Under the agreement, the supermajor will deploy the Imaging AnyWare software across its global exploration and production operations. The partnership also includes collaborative R&D opportunities and the integration of the customer's proprietary technology, enhancing the enterprise-grade imaging environment designed to accelerate project timelines and improve subsurface images.

Kristian Johansen, chief executive of TGS, highlighted the significance of welcoming another major customer, seeing it as a testament to the software's functionality and the team's dedication to innovation. TGS reiterated its commitment to advancing seismic imaging leveraging its integrated geoscience value proposition.
