BEWI shareholders elect new board member Christian Begby

BEWI ASA held an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on December 22, 2025, in Oslo, with shareholders also having the option to participate digitally. The primary agenda item was the election of a new board member. The meeting resolved to elect Christian Begby as a member of the board of directors for the period leading up to the annual general meeting in 2027.

The EGM saw 157,379,552 shares represented, accounting for 66.54% of the company's total share capital. All proposals, including the election of Per Anders Sæhle as chair of the meeting and Gunnar Syvertsen to co-sign the minutes, and the approval of the notice and agenda, were carried with overwhelming majorities. The resolution for Christian Begby's election also passed with significant shareholder support.

Following Begby's election, the board of directors for the period until the ordinary general meeting in 2026 will comprise Gunnar Syvertsen (chair), Kristina Schauman, Anne-Lise Aukner, Andreas Akselsen, Rik Dobbelaere, Pernille Skarstein, and Christian Begby.
