AF Gruppen wins major North Sea decommissioning contract

AF Offshore Decom, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been awarded a contract by Ithaca Energy for the engineering, receipt, dismantling, and recycling of a floating production platform from the UK sector of the North Sea. The facility, weighing approximately 23,000 metric tons, is scheduled to arrive at AF Environmental Base Vats in 2026. The contract value is estimated to be in the range of NOK 225-275 million, excluding VAT.
