Subsea 7 secures 'sizeable' offshore Norway contract

Subsea 7 S.A. announced on December 19, 2025, a "sizeable" contract for the pre-commitment to procure long lead items for a Norwegian North Sea project. The company defines "sizeable" contracts as between $50 million and $150 million.

Pre-execution project management and engineering work will begin immediately at Subsea 7's Stavanger office in Norway. Erik Femsteinevik, vp Subsea 7 Norway, highlighted that this early commitment reflects a strong, trust-based relationship with the operator, enabling fast-track development.
