Archer secures three-year contract extension with Aker BP

Archer has announced that Aker BP has exercised a three-year extension option for its platform drilling and maintenance contract. This extension ensures continuity of operations through December 31, 2028, covering platform drilling operations and maintenance services on the Ula and Valhall installations in the Norwegian North Sea.

Under the extended agreement, Archer will continue to provide platform drilling operations, maintenance services, and intervention support, including integrated engineering, rental equipment, and well services as required, as part of its #OneArcher service offering.

Archer's chief executive, Dag Skindlo, highlighted the company's more than three-decade relationship with Aker BP, emphasizing that the extension builds upon this legacy and is a testament to the consistent performance of Archer's teams.
