NORBIT secures NOK 170m in defence manufacturing contracts

NORBIT ASA announced its Product Innovation & Realization (PIR) segment has received contract manufacturing orders totaling approximately NOK 170 million. These orders come from an undisclosed European client within the defence and security sector, with most deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. This announcement highlights NORBIT's continued strategic importance to key clients in a rapidly evolving market.

Per Jørgen Weisethaunet, NORBIT's chief executive, emphasized that sustained client trust forms the bedrock of their business model. He noted the company's focus on scalability and preparedness to meet demanding delivery timelines, particularly given the sector's swift development. Recent strategic expansions and investments are a direct response to ensuring the necessary capacity for such contracts.

NORBIT operates through three segments: Oceans, Connectivity, and Product Innovation & Realization. The PIR segment specifically offers R&D services, proprietary products, and contract manufacturing.
