Kitron lands €44m order for data center electrification

Kitron has received a significant €44 million order for the production and delivery of advanced electronic components. These components are designed for energy storage and grid balancing systems, directly addressing the critical needs of the rapidly expanding data center segment for large-scale electrification and power balancing. Deliveries are slated to commence in 2026.

Production for this new order will take place at Kitron’s U.S. facilities. Kitron chief executive Peter Nilsson highlighted that the order expands existing business and reinforces the company's role as a reliable supplier for complex electronics supporting energy-intensive digital infrastructure.

The Norwegian electronics manufacturer, with operations across 11 countries, reported operating revenues of €647 million in 2024. Kitron specializes in electronics manufacturing and related services for sectors including Connectivity, Electrification, Industry, Medical Equipment, and Defense/Aerospace.
