5th Planet Games expands physical distribution in Benelux

5th Planet Games has announced a significant physical distribution agreement with BIGBEN Interactive Belgium, strengthening its reach in the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg). This partnership follows similar agreements earlier this year with Nordisk Interactive and Glomerk, extending 5th Planet Games' distribution capabilities across much of central and northern Europe. BIGBEN Interactive will specifically manage local marketing and distribution logistics in Benelux.

The collaboration aims to capitalize on the enduring market for physical boxed video games, which, according to 5th Planet Games chief executive Mark Stanger, can represent nearly half of a game's lifetime sales and offers opportunities for premium collector's editions. Daniel Janssens, director of BIGBEN Interactive, expressed confidence in engaging the audience with 5th Planet Games' compelling IP, leveraging BIGBEN's over 25 years of expertise and strong Benelux presence.

This agreement will facilitate the market entry of physical editions for games like Frostpunk 2 and Invincible VS, developed in partnership with Skybound Entertainment. 5th Planet Games continues to leverage its access to global IP, including The Walking Dead and Invincible, across various platforms.
