Ventura offshore secures $20m extension with Eni Indonesia

Ventura Offshore Holding Ltd. announced on December 10, 2025, that its customer, Eni Indonesia, has exercised the third of four optional wells for the semisubmersible drilling rig, SSV Catarina, in Indonesia. This exercise involves drilling and completion services and is projected to keep the rig operational through the second quarter of 2026.

The extension adds approximately $20 million to the company's firm backlog. Ventura Offshore noted that the potential exercise of the remaining optional well by Eni could extend the rig's utilization into the third quarter of 2026.

Ventura Offshore Holding Ltd. is a deep-water drilling contractor primarily serving the Brazilian offshore oil and gas market. Its fleet includes one drillship, DS Carolina, and two semisubmersible drilling rigs, SSV Victoria and SSV Catarina, in addition to managing the drillship DS Zonda.
