Kitron lands €19m defense order expansion

Kitron ASA has secured a €19 million order for advanced electronic components, destined for guidance, control, and measurement systems. This order extends an existing relationship with a long-term defense customer, reinforcing Kitron's role as a reliable supplier for advanced weapon systems.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027, with production at a European Kitron facility. Peter Nilsson, chief executive of Kitron, said the expanded order highlights the trust defense customers place in Kitron’s ability to deliver highly reliable electronics for complex applications, supporting the company's long-term growth ambitions in the defense and aerospace sector.

Kitron, a leading Scandinavian electronics manufacturer, reported operating revenues of €647 million in 2024 and employs about 3,000 people across operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, India, Malaysia, China, and the USA.
