Subsea7 subsidiary secures major Polish offshore wind contract

Subsea7 S.A. announced today that its subsidiary, Seaway7, has been awarded a sizeable contract by Ocean Winds for the BC-Wind project in Poland. The BC-Wind offshore site, located approximately 23 kilometers off the Polish coast in the Baltic Sea, will feature 26 wind turbine generators. Seaway7's scope of work includes the transport and installation of these 26 transition pieces and an offshore substation, with offshore activity projected to begin in 2027.

This marks Seaway7's third contract award in the Polish offshore wind market. Stuart Fitzgerald, Seaway7's chief executive, expressed the company's enthusiasm for supporting Ocean Winds and contributing to Poland's offshore wind targets.
