Subsea7 wins decommissioning contract from Ithaca Energy offshore UK

Subsea7 S.A. has been awarded a "sizeable" contract by Ithaca Energy for off-station decommissioning services in the UK sector of the North Sea. The contract, valued between $50 million and $150 million, covers the Alba Floating Storage Unit and the Greater Stella field FPF-1 production facility, located approximately 230 kilometers east of Aberdeen.

The scope of work includes flushing subsea pipelines, providing diver support vessel services, and seabed clearance. Project management and engineering will commence immediately at Subsea7's Aberdeen office, with offshore activities slated for Q2 2026. This award highlights Subsea7's three decades of decommissioning experience and its ongoing relationship with Ithaca Energy, which began in 2008.
