Icelandic Salmon names Robert Robertsson chief financial officer

Icelandic Salmon AS has appointed Robert Robertsson as its new chief financial officer, effective before June 1, 2026. Robertsson, 39, brings extensive experience to the role, having served as CFO at Kaldvik for the past five years. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Ernst & Young in transaction advisory and audit services. He holds two master's degrees, specializing in corporate finance, and accounting and auditing.

Chief executive Bjorn Hembre highlighted Robertsson's "solid industry experience" and "strong capabilities in corporate finance and financial management," noting confidence that his leadership will support the company's target of 21 thousand tonnes for 2026.

Edvin Aspli, who has been serving as interim CFO since May 2025, will transition back to his permanent role as chief strategy officer upon Robertsson assuming the CFO position.
