LINK Mobility finalizes SMSPortal acquisition, expanding global reach

LINK Mobility Group Holding ASA announced today the completion of its acquisition of SMSPortal, a prominent provider of A2P messaging services based in South Africa with significant international operations. The agreement to acquire 100% of SMSPortal's shares was initially announced on June 24, 2025.

The acquisition was settled through an upfront cash payment of $100 million, sourced from LINK's cash on hand, and the issuance of 5,854,230 new shares to the sellers. LINK will register the share capital increase with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises.

Following registration, LINK Mobility will have a share capital of NOK 1,529,504.84, divided into 305,900,968 shares, each with a nominal value of NOK 0.005. This strategic move enhances LINK's global mobile messaging and CPaaS solutions, serving 60,000 active customer accounts and exchanging 23 bn messages annually.
