Aeron secures MNOK 150 HVAC-R contract for Princess Elisabeth Island

Aeron, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has secured a significant contract valued at approximately MNOK 150 (excluding VAT) with HSI Joint Venture. The agreement covers the engineering, detailed design, procurement, and assembly of HVAC-R systems for Modular Offshore Grid 2 (MOG2) on Princess Elisabeth Island in Belgium. This artificial island is poised to become the world's first dedicated to offshore wind, forming a crucial part of Europe's future energy infrastructure.

The contract underscores Aeron's strategic importance and its established position as a leading supplier of HVAC-R systems for advanced offshore installations across Europe. Project engineering commenced immediately, with equipment delivery scheduled for 2026 and final completion by 2027. The first offshore wind farm connected to Princess Elisabeth Island is anticipated to be operational by 2030, marking a key milestone for the region's green energy transition.
