Atea earns top ESG transparency award for second consecutive year

Atea has once again been honored with the ESG Transparency Award from EUPD Research, achieving "Excellence Class" for its transparent reporting practices. This marks the second consecutive year Atea has received this recognition, further earning "Leading Companies" status among top performers in its country, size category, and industry. Chief executive Steinar Sønsteby emphasized the company's "long-standing dedication to clarity and completeness in non-financial reporting."

This latest recognition adds to a growing list of sustainability achievements for Atea this year. The company was ranked among the world's top 100 most sustainable companies by Corporate Knights and was placed on CDP's annual "A List" for its leadership in corporate transparency and climate change performance. For the sixth consecutive year, Atea received a platinum rating from EcoVadis for environmental and social performance.

Further cementing its reputation, Atea was recognized among the "World's Most Sustainable Companies 2025" by TIME and Statista R, and for the fourth time, was acknowledged by The Financial Times and Statista for significant strides in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Atea, the leading IT infrastructure supplier in the Nordic and Baltic regions, reported revenue of approximately NOK 35 bn in 2024.
