M Vest Water secures order for Norwegian salmon slaughterhouse water treatment

M Vest Water (MVW) has received a purchase order from Downstream Marine (DSM) for water treatment equipment destined for a new salmon slaughterhouse in Norway. The equipment is slated for delivery with operations commencing in the first half of 2026. This order includes a complete dosing system with sensor stations for process monitoring, designed to integrate with an existing flotation unit and tailored for MVW's NORWAFLOC® chemical. The delivery incorporates the latest technologies, ensuring stable operation and high purification efficiency.

This latest order marks MVW's sixth equipment delivery to DSM, reinforcing its position as a leading supplier of Best Available Technology (BAT) solutions for wastewater treatment in the salmon slaughterhouse industry. MVW's executive chairman, Tor Olav Gabrielsen, highlighted that this order aligns with the company’s aquaculture strategy and demonstrates market recognition for its improved solutions in meeting Norway's stringent discharge regulations.

The company anticipates additional recurring revenues from NORWAFLOC® sales once the plant begins operation next year.
