Veidekke lands NOK 200m Equinor contract for water treatment plant

Veidekke ASA has announced a new contract with Equinor Energy to build a water treatment plant at the Sture oil terminal in Øygarden, outside Bergen. The contract is valued at approximately NOK 200 million, excluding VAT. Thor Småbrekke, district manager at Veidekke Bygg Bergen, expressed satisfaction with securing the implementation contract after a collaborative development phase.

Veidekke's scope of work includes constructing a concrete building for the treatment plant, complete with cast water tanks and technical installations, alongside ground and site preparation.

Construction has already commenced, with an anticipated completion in autumn 2027. This contract will be included in Veidekke's order backlog for the fourth quarter of 2025.
