Andfjord Salmon reports strong biological performance, high survival rates

Andfjord Salmon today reported robust biological performance at its Kvalnes facility. Pool K0 demonstrated a 99.89% survival rate and average weight growth of 182% to 508 grams since smolt release on September 30. This pool currently holds 177 tonnes of live salmon, with a feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 0.85.

Pool K1, which received approximately 750,000 smolt between November 10-12, shows an impressive 99.91% survival rate. The average weight in K1 has increased by 8.75% to 174 grams, contributing to a current standing biomass of 129 tonnes. The aggregate survival rate across both pools stands at 99.90%, with a total standing biomass of 306 tonnes of live salmon.

chief executive Martin Rasmussen highlighted strong biological results, including higher-than-forecasted survival and above-expectation growth. The company also announced that the Q3 2025 financial results presentation, originally scheduled for this week, has been postponed to December 16, 2025, due to executive management scheduling conflicts. Construction of the next pool, K3, is nearing completion.
