Mowi ASA elects new board member, appoints deputy chairman

Mowi ASA held an extraordinary general meeting on November 20, 2025, with shareholders representing 72.81% of the share capital present. Orjan Svanevik, chairman of the board, presided over the meeting. All proposed resolutions were passed with strong shareholder alignment.

A key decision was the election of a new board member. Aino Olaisen was appointed to the board for a two-year term, not extending beyond the ordinary general meeting in 2027. Concurrently, Kristian Melhuus resigned from the board, and Leif Teksum was elected as the new deputy chairman.

Following these changes, Mowi ASA’s board now comprises Orjan Svanevik (chairperson), Leif Teksum (deputy chairperson), Kathrine Fredriksen, Peder Strand, Lisbet Karin Naero, Kjersti Hobol, and Aino Olaisen.
