Pyrum Innovations forms joint venture for Czech recycling plant

Pyrum Innovations AG and SUAS Ecology s.r.o. have formed SUAS reTIRE s.r.o., a joint venture in Czechia, to develop and operate a state-of-the-art recycling plant. Pyrum has acquired a 49% equity stake, valued at approximately €8.6 million, and secured a ten-year offtake agreement for the pyrolysis oil produced.

The plant, located in Vřesová, is expected to begin commissioning in 2027 and will have a recycling capacity exceeding 22,000 tonnes of end-of-life tyres annually. SUAS, which already operates a power plant at the site, will integrate the gas produced from pyrolysis into electricity generation.

Ground-breaking preparations are set for spring 2026. This partnership combines Pyrum's innovative thermolysis technology with SUAS's industrial resources, reinforcing a shared commitment to sustainable development.
