Europris opens final new store of 2025 in Sogne, expands Nordic footprint

Europris ASA announced the opening of its newest store in Sogne, Agder, on November 20, 2025. This marks the eighth and final new store launch for Europris in 2025, bringing its total nationwide network to 289 stores, covering every Norwegian county. Chief executive Espen Eldal highlighted the Sogne store as the sixth in the Kristiansand region, emphasizing its role in providing convenient, low-price shopping. The company also confirmed a robust pipeline of new stores planned for 2026 and beyond.

While Europris maintains an online shopping presence, physical stores are expected to remain the primary sales channel. The group's growth strategy in discount variety retailing continues to focus on expansion through both physical and online channels. In a development from May 2024, Europris took full ownership of the Swedish discount variety retailer OoB, which operates a network of 92 stores in Sweden, further expanding the group's regional footprint.
