Nordea reduces share count by cancelling treasury shares

Nordea Bank Abp has cancelled 8,068,780 treasury shares as of November 19, 2025, a move executed in line with a board of directors' decision. These shares were originally acquired through buy-back programs. The cancellation was officially registered with the Finnish Trade Register on the same date.

This action reduces Nordea's total number of shares to 3,442,514,700, with an equivalent number of votes attached. The company still retains 1,276,312 treasury shares for ongoing capital optimisation and an additional 10,299,096 treasury shares designated for remuneration purposes.
