Zenith Energy surpasses 100 MWp solar target with Puglia acquisition

Zenith Energy Ltd. announced an agreement to acquire a solar energy development project in Italy's Puglia region, adding approximately 12 MWp of ground-mounted PV capacity and a 3 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The acquisition, valued at €1,050,000 including land, is expected to reach Ready-to-Build status within 12-16 months, with payment contingent on securing permits and achieving RtB status.

This acquisition, signed on November 17, 2025, strengthens Zenith's presence in Italy, complementing existing projects in Piedmont and Lazio. This latest addition pushes Zenith's total solar portfolio to 110.5 MWp, surpassing its initial 100 MWp development target. The company plans to sell a portion of its development portfolio for immediate profit and liquidity, while also constructing selected RtB assets to generate direct, tangible, and recurring revenue from electricity production.

Zenith's strategy involves a dual-track model of development-stage asset sales and long-term energy production. The company is commissioning an independent valuation of its development portfolio to ensure transparency and demonstrate progress in its strategic shift toward solar energy development and production. This balanced approach aims to position Zenith for sustained profitability and growth across both solar and storage.
