AF Gruppen wins MNOK 200 contract for New Aker Hospital

Helse Sør-Øst RHF has provisionally awarded AF Energi, a company within AF Gruppen, a contract for gas and compressed air installations at the New Aker Hospital. The contract, valued at approximately MNOK 200 excluding VAT, will be executed as a total enterprise. It covers the installation of piping systems for gas and compressed air across the new hospital's approximately 170,000 square meters.

Planning work for the project is set to commence immediately following the waiting period. Production is anticipated to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with the entire project expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2029. This award marks another contract for AF Gruppen in the New Aker Hospital project.

Eirik Wraal, executive vice president at AF Gruppen, expressed satisfaction with securing an additional contract, highlighting the new hospital's significance for regional healthcare services. He emphasized the company's commitment to delivering functional solutions in close collaboration with Helse Sør-Øst RHF.
