AF Gruppen posts record Q3 with strong growth and backlog

AF Gruppen ASA delivered its best third quarter ever in 2025, with revenues reaching NOK 7,803 million and earnings before tax soaring to NOK 398 million, resulting in a profit margin of 5.1%. The company's order backlog reached a robust NOK 44,382 million by September 30, 2025, significantly higher than NOK 36,442 million in the previous year. Cash flow from operating activities was also strong at NOK 1,000 million for the quarter.

The positive performance was broad-based, with Civil Engineering, Construction, and Betonmast all reporting good results and increased profitability. Property achieved positive earnings before tax despite weak overall results, while Energy and Environment saw increased activity in demolition but lower activity in energy services. Sweden improved profitability despite lower activity, and Offshore reported increased activity but weak results.

AF Gruppen maintained a solid financial position with net interest-bearing receivables of NOK 524 million and a resolved additional dividend of NOK 4.00 per share for the financial year 2024. The LTI-1 rate improved to 0.2, reflecting a positive trend in safety work. The acquisition of Eviny Solutions (renamed AF Elkraft) in September further strengthens the Energy and Environment business area.
