Foundation crosses 5% ownership threshold in SpareBank 1 SMN

Sparebankstiftelsen SMN announced on November 11, 2025, that it acquired 50,000 equity certificates in SpareBank 1 SMN. This strategic purchase increases the foundation's total holdings in the company to 7,220,111 equity certificates.

As a direct result of this transaction, Sparebankstiftelsen SMN now controls 5.01% of the outstanding equity certificates and voting rights in SpareBank 1 SMN. This acquisition marks a significant milestone, as it pushes the foundation's ownership stake above the 5% threshold, triggering disclosure requirements.
