Capsol partners with Everllence to enhance carbon capture solutions

Capsol Technologies ASA announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Everllence (formerly MAN Energy Solutions) on November 10, 2025. This partnership aims to integrate and standardize compression and expansion equipment with Capsol's CapsolEoP® solution, simplifying procurement, reducing costs, and shortening project timelines for developers. The collaboration is expected to strengthen CapsolEoP®'s attractiveness, which typically offers 20-60% lower levelized capture costs than amine-based alternatives.

The agreement focuses on combining Everllence MAX1 axial compressors and axial expanders with Capsol's hot potassium-based capture technology. This integration is designed to enhance efficient, high-capacity flue gas handling, particularly for large carbon capture projects in sectors like biomass and cement. Everllence contributes experience from over 25 large carbon compression projects.

The partnership includes joint testing, development, and sales and marketing efforts. This initiative is part of Capsol's broader strategy to build an ecosystem of partners supporting emitters from feasibility to full-scale operations.
