Cadeler secures €500m in offshore wind contracts

Cadeler A/S has announced two firm contracts valued at approximately €500 million for the full-scope transportation and installation (T&I) of offshore wind turbines and their foundations. The foundation work is scheduled to begin in early 2029, utilizing one of Cadeler’s newbuild A-class vessels. Turbine installation will follow in early 2030, performed by an O-class jack-up vessel, with completion expected by late 2030.

These agreements are contingent on the client's final investment decision, with a termination fee applicable if the client is unsuccessful. Chief executive Mikkel Gleerup emphasized that the projects reinforce Cadeler's role as a comprehensive T&I partner, aligning with market demands and showcasing the company’s ability to handle complex projects.
