Aqua Bio Technology completes EGM, approves capital cut and potential lawsuit

Aqua Bio Technology ASA held an extraordinary general meeting on November 7, 2025, where all proposals were adopted. Key decisions included electing Tonje Blaker as a new board member, replacing Lena Varming.

The general meeting approved a capital reduction of NOK 261,246,580.80, decreasing the share capital from NOK 272,131,855 to NOK 10,885,274.20. This was achieved by reducing the par value of shares from NOK 2.50 to NOK 0.10 per share. The reduced amount will cover losses based on the company's 2024 annual financial statements.

Shareholders also granted the board authority to potentially sue former chief executive Håvard Lindstrøm, contingent on external investigation findings. The company will first seek compensation from its insurance provider. A new nomination committee was also elected.
