Matvareexpressen reports robust Q3 2025 growth, record customer numbers

Matvareexpressen AS reported a substantial increase in its Q3 2025 financial performance. Total revenues for the quarter reached NOK 359,446,539, a 22% rise from NOK 294,117,229 in the same period of 2024. EBITDA saw an impressive 117% jump to NOK 20,434,630 from NOK 9,381,210, and profit before tax surged by 1471% to NOK 5,386,878 compared to NOK 342,856 in Q3 2024. The company attributes this growth to continued customer acquisition across all geographical segments, with 2,420 unique customers recorded by the end of Q3 2025, the highest number ever.

Despite the typically weaker Q3 due to summer holidays impacting customer activity, the company expects continued revenue growth and improved profit before tax for the full fiscal year 2025 compared to 2024. Strategic initiatives, such as the new Vestfold division and contract wins with Drammen and Arendal Kommuner, are expected to contribute to future growth.

Technological investments, including an automated AutoStore warehouse system and proprietary WMS, have optimized storage and picking processes, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. These improvements, alongside ongoing efforts to expand electric vehicle fleets and reduce environmental impact, reinforce Matvareexpressen’s commitment to sustainable, scalable growth and maintaining competitive advantages in the internet-based food and catering supply market.
