Veidekke wins NOK 350m contract for Hoxton Hotel in Oslo

Veidekke has been awarded a NOK 350 million (excluding VAT) contract to construct a new Hoxton hotel in Oslo's Hammersborg district. The project, secured from Møller Eiendom and AB Invest, involves building an 8,000 square meter hotel with nine above-ground and two basement floors.

The hotel will feature 152 rooms, meeting facilities, a gym, bar, and dining areas, becoming the first Hoxton property in the Nordics. Construction is set to begin in approximately two weeks, with handover scheduled for autumn 2027. This contract will be added to Veidekke's order reserves for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Morten Barreth, department manager at Veidekke Bygg Oslo, expressed pride in building a unique addition to the city. Gunnar Oveland, project developer at AB Invest, praised the collaborative environment and shared vision for the project.
