Mowi ASA calls EGM for board shake-up, new appointments

Mowi ASA announced an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to be held on November 20, 2025, at 14:00 CET as a virtual meeting. The primary agenda is to elect Aino Olaisen, former chairman and owner of Nova Sea AS, as a new board member. This follows Mowi's acquisition of Nova Sea AS.

The nomination committee unanimously proposed Olaisen's election to the board for a two-year term, replacing Kristian Melhuus, who has served since 2018. Additionally, Leif Teksum is nominated to assume the role of new deputy chairman. Olaisen’s extensive experience in the aquaculture industry, including her leadership roles at Nova Sea AS, is highlighted as a significant asset to Mowi’s board.
