Moreld subsidiary extends Normand Vision charter for offshore projects

Moreld ASA's subsidiary, Ocean Installer, has extended its charter agreement for the "Normand Vision" vessel, a high-capacity construction support vessel. This extension, agreed with ship owner Solstad, includes a new option for 2029 and further commercial agreements to extend charter options until the end of 2031, positioning Ocean Installer to meet current and future demands.

The Normand Vision, co-designed with Ocean Installer, is purpose-built for SURF operations. It has been instrumental in executing projects across various markets including SURF, mooring, IRM, renewables, and decommissioning. Kevin Murphy, Ocean Installer chief executive, highlighted the vessel's decade of service and its crew's contributions to successful project execution globally.

Moreld, an industrial group listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, provides services across offshore energy, marine, and onshore industries. Ocean Installer, founded in 2011 and part of the Moreld group since June 2024, specializes in marine construction and installation of offshore subsea infrastructure.
